WEEK TEN 

  MARKETING COMMUNICATION  






Marketing communication is a fundamental and complex part of a company’s marketing efforts. Loosely defined, Marketing Communication can be described as all the messages and media you deploy to communicate with the market. 



The easiest definition of branding is: The process of building a brand. 





BRANDING COMMUNICATIONS






Digital marketing touches many areas of impact, from SEO or SEO to social networks. From email marketing to Google AdWords campaigns or from web analytics to Social Ads campaigns. 


Types:
  1. Personal Branding 
  2. Corporate Branding
  3. Employer Branding




In the case of my website my website name in Cecilia Taylor and for my brand logo I have chosen the two initials of the name the c and the t making branding communication because when my customers will see my logo they are going to know that is Cecilia Taylor Beauty or is one of my goals. Also in all the products that I add on the web the logo is stick on all of them also in the bag where the customers are going to receive the products.

WEEK NINE

  ONLINE ADVERTISING 




ISSUES :


  • Expensive ad prices:Consumers are used to advertising that they have developed an aversion to all forms.
  • Consumers getting distractedWebsite downtime, lags within the website, video loading or browser complications can reduce the quality and number of times consumer see online advertisements.   
  • Too many applications:The cost of a banner, text and/or video ads vary depending on the amount of traffic, the type of readership the website receives etc.
  • Make it easy to participate:When customers visit a website, it is typical to have a goal in mind, whether it is to catch-up on the latest celebrity gossip, reading the news, chat with friends, download music or shop for a specific item, it is easy for a customer to get distracted from advertisements.
  • Get people sharing photos:It is difficult to narrow down choices to the websites which will attract the most potential customers and sales.


UTILISING ONLINE PROMOTION 





  • Make your promotion mobile-friendly66% of promotion view are via mobiles.
  • Have your customers and staff seed the promotionIn a case study, for everyone person who entered a sweepstake, an addition 3.6 customers entered as a result of social recommendation.

SEO




SEO is short for search engine optimization. It is a methodology of strategies, techniques and tactics used to increase the number of visitors to a website by obtaining a high-ranking placement in the search results page of a search engine.

These days on my website I´m making the final steps to have everything done, I have decided to think about the christhmas season as a way to include gifts and special discounts and also to use colors and effects on the web to bring my consumers in a winter mood, familiar and relax.

WEEK EIGHT

  BUILDING A WEBSITE




First, we had started the class with a presentation explaining firstly the file types that we can use, including docx, xlsx, pptx and pdf also we have HTML and different types of images ( jpg, jpeg, gif, png). 
-Including Audio files in this area we have, wav and mp3  
-Video files have AVI, FLV ETZ.

Then we continue with the domain name and here I add a photo explaining in an easy way how we can divide it. 



Domain Name.





In this post I also include:

A cyber security policy should include guidelines on:


   Password requirements.
   Email standards.
   Handling of sensitive data.
   Locking computers and devices.
   Handling of technology.
  Social media and internet access standards.
   Managing incidents.




 Then we have been talking about the history of our univesity UCB.









To conclude the class I continue working on my website today I have been adding some products to it.

WEEK SEVEN 

e-CRM



According to lecture notes in the week seven the definition of e-CRM is Customer Relationship Management is an approach to manage a company's interaction with current & potential customers using data analysis about customers' history with a company to improve business relationships with customers, specifically focusing on customer retention and driving sales growth’. 









We have also given some methods which assist in finding new audiences :


  • Create co-branded content 
  • Integrate with other products
  • Publish content on external sites
  • Map the locations of potential customers
  • Build a small influencer referral programme
  • Test keyword-level conversion rate
  • Build content using unique data



Including some tips to how to manage customers :
  1. Cover more solutionsEmployees on the front line who deal with customers need to be armed with a variety of solutions to common and potential issues, meaning they can offer customers an alternative when they demand something which isn’t possible. 
  2. Be transparent: Reasonable expectations are born from a companies transparent policies, values and practices which develop trust with customers.
  3. Give clear timelines:Customers understand glitches, errors and bugs arise but they expect you to be honest about it!
  4. Be optimistic and realistic:Most business want to make and keep customers happy and they know a quick resolution will do that, after all, we all want to hear good news such as the problem will be fixed, the refund will be made or the solution will be implemented now.
  5. Follow-up:The most crucial element to setting and managing expectations in the follow-up. According to Johnson “most customers are not bothered by companies touching base with them.

Online Buyer Behavior

With the evolution of online communication through internet, customers now see online advertisements of various brands. It is fast catching up with the buying behavior of consumers and is a major source of publicity for niche segments and also for established brands. 












To conclude the post in my website I still continue adding products and I decide to change the history about why I decide to choose the name of the web.

  WEEK SIX

WELLNESS







Today in the lecture we were given information about Wellness and why the women are focus on this point and to take in mind The National Wellness Institute who define wellness a conscious, self-directed and evolving process of achieving full potential .

The World Health Organization, has given another definition which is as state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.





About myself I continued working on my website with Wix, today I decided to add testimonials to my web because I was finding similar websites in which the most of them have a part for testimonial from people who have already use the benefits of the web the products or the different things that the website is offering to all the customers, I don't know if I'm going to take examples from other webs or if  I'm going to create my own testimonials asking family and friends what is them opinion of what I'm offering on my web. Also I think that I can add the testiomonials through social media accounts. 

Also maybe I can ask in experience webs related to mines what is her opinion or asking different questions about the theme to create a good website for this class.

WEEK FIVE

In today's class, we have learned the importance of social networks, their meaning and a debate about whether it is important in the business world today and the amount of strategies that are at the time of using them.

And according to lecture notes in week five where they define social media like websites and applications that enable users to create and share content or to participate in social networking.





Some of these points, are going to be the goals if we will use social media in our marketing strategies. 

  • Increase the brand awareness. 
  • Engage in a higher quality of sales.
  • Drive in-person sales.
  • Improve your return on-investment. 
  • Create a loyal fan base. 


We have also talked about customer advocacy and about all the strategies that we can use when using social networks in a work environment, not only in our personal lives and how to know what to post. 

According to lecture notes Customer advocacy is a specialized form of customer service in which companies focus on what is deemed to be best for the customer. 


Then I continued with my website, looking for numerous reference web pages related to what I want my website to be and the truth that today has allowed me to take many good ideas has made me see in a very positive this work.
