  WEEK SIX

WELLNESS







Today in the lecture we were given information about Wellness and why the women are focus on this point and to take in mind The National Wellness Institute who define wellness a conscious, self-directed and evolving process of achieving full potential .

The World Health Organization, has given another definition which is as state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.





About myself I continued working on my website with Wix, today I decided to add testimonials to my web because I was finding similar websites in which the most of them have a part for testimonial from people who have already use the benefits of the web the products or the different things that the website is offering to all the customers, I don't know if I'm going to take examples from other webs or if  I'm going to create my own testimonials asking family and friends what is them opinion of what I'm offering on my web. Also I think that I can add the testiomonials through social media accounts. 

Also maybe I can ask in experience webs related to mines what is her opinion or asking different questions about the theme to create a good website for this class.

WEEK FIVE

In today's class, we have learned the importance of social networks, their meaning and a debate about whether it is important in the business world today and the amount of strategies that are at the time of using them.

And according to lecture notes in week five where they define social media like websites and applications that enable users to create and share content or to participate in social networking.





Some of these points, are going to be the goals if we will use social media in our marketing strategies. 

  • Increase the brand awareness. 
  • Engage in a higher quality of sales.
  • Drive in-person sales.
  • Improve your return on-investment. 
  • Create a loyal fan base. 


We have also talked about customer advocacy and about all the strategies that we can use when using social networks in a work environment, not only in our personal lives and how to know what to post. 

According to lecture notes Customer advocacy is a specialized form of customer service in which companies focus on what is deemed to be best for the customer. 


Then I continued with my website, looking for numerous reference web pages related to what I want my website to be and the truth that today has allowed me to take many good ideas has made me see in a very positive this work.

WEEK FOUR 

    ONLINE CONSUMER BEHAVIOUR 


This Wednesday we were given information about Online Consumer Behaviour and how consumer behave an online platform also researching the Online Customer and Decision Making Process.

According to Solomon (2006) the Consumer Behaviour is the study of the processes involved when individuals or groups select, purchase, use or dispose of products, services, ideas or experiences to satisfy needs and desires, giving importance to how consumers affect the marketing strategy.

According  to Chaffey & Chadwck (2012) The motivations, media consumption preferences and selection process used by consumers as they use digital channels together with traditional channels to purchase online products and use other online services. 

 Then we were given types of modelling our consumers ;


  • Lewis and Lewis
  • Direct information seekers 
  • Undirected information seekers 
  • Direct buyers 
  • Bargain Hunters 
  • Entertainment Seekers 

Including how Chaffey & Chadwick (2012) identified those three types of behavior to aid a website design.

  • Tracker:They know which product to buy and uses the website to check price, availability, delivery times, additional charges or after sales
  • HunterThey are not specific but knows the type of product attempting to be precise.
  • ExplorerThey have no ideas in mind but may have a general objective.

To continue the teacher gave us the task one which consist in compare my last online shopping with the person on my left to write the differences in the purchase process. 
Continue with the decision-making process and online buying process.

WEEK THREE

  NEW METHODS OF e-MARKETING




First off all we were given our assignment brief to start with the website and to continue with the blog. 

Today's class has been based on blogs for it in pairs we had to choose a blog of four that have given us and find 5 things that we liked about him and 5 things that should be improved to conclude that the blog analyzed It was very interactive but a little chaotic because there was too much information and many images which made it difficult to read in an appropriate way the different posts that were written.
 We have been seeing how to create a blog in a properly way and what questions do we need to ask ourselves to make a good content.

All this taking into account the importance of digital content today, now everything that comes to mind is in the network, any doubt, literally everything has an answer and what you are looking for on the internet, such as reading books or to go from the traditional kiosk newspaper to pick up your tablet or any electronic device and googling any event, news that you may be interested in.

                      




We have also completed a small study of social networks and how each of them are intended for different ages or businesses and how we should study them to know which is the most appropriate for which we have to create.

WEEK TWO

FUTHER EXPLORATION INTO e-BUSINESS


In today's lecture we have given a futher information into e-Business, and according to lecture notes in week two that teacher give us some of the uses of the e-Business :

  • Market a business
  • Organise your business 
  • Communicate internally
  • Interact with customers
  • Find business information
  • Hire employers
  • Buy and sell products
  • Schedule and track shipments
  • conduct banking and accounts online
  • Access government programs online

Continuing with the three categories of the e-Business ; to consumer, to business and to government
We need to consider three keys that we need to have in mind and to have in relevance.

  • Organizing the communication and business processes
  • Marketing the business to existing and potential customers
  • Facilitate interactions with other business

Having in mind that when we are investing  into e-Business we have three primary areas :




                  CUSTOMERS.           SUPPLIERS.          PRODUCTS/SERVICES.




Then we have given our first task to do in which with the online resource Wix we have to create a website to give Janet and David´s business a web presence to increase sales and to raise awareness of their business so I will create a sales website based on Health and Wellness. I start think about some ideas for my web like  cosmetics, online exercise like yoga, ecologic food or cream soap mask to inspire us to have a relaxing life. In the last part of the class we have been exploring how to use Wix to start the website.
