WEEK ONE

INTRODUCTION TO e-BUSINESS & e-MARKETING

To start this new blog for the e-Business & e-Marketing course in the second year of my degree at University College Birmingham Marketing with Events Management, starting to talk about my first day in the class. 

Also, in today's class I met the two lectures who are going to teach this class Glenn Allison and Nethan Punj. 

I understood that this module is going to be focus on digital marketing and business and 

understanding how E-Business and E-Marketing frameworks can be utilized to analyse market opportunities. Evaluating the purposes and values of websites for businesses. Exploring how a business operates in a global digitized environment. 

In this module we are going to be working with the computer along the semester creating our own website with Wix platform and this personal blog. 

For the creation of the website we will use the electronic platform Wix and Blogger to create the blog on which I am writing.

 

Thanks to the first class, and according to Chaffery (2011),  I understand the definition of e-Business which is a broader term used to describe a range of electronic activities. Including the definition of e-Marketing as an external perpective of how the internet can be used in conjuction with tradictional media to acquire and deliver services to customers and the importance of the marketing mix on it.
